Are you getting a slow surfing speed ?? If yes, then i will show you the steps by which you be able surf faster than before. For this training purpose, i will use Mozilla Firefox and if you don’t have it yet, get a copy here. Once you downloaded and installed Firefox then open it.

1. Type about:config at the address bar. You will be presented with option below.

2. Now click on the button and go ahead.
3. You will be presented with options as image below.

4. Now choose the following entries and change their values accordingly.
network.http.max-connections-per-server =32
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy =16
network.http.max-connections = 64
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server = 10
network.http.pipelining = true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests = 200
network.http.request.max-start-delay = 0
network.http.proxy.pipelining = true
network.http.proxy.version = 1.0

Say you have to change network.http.max-connections-per-server =32 . Copy “network.http.max-connections-per-server” (without quotes) and paste it in filter bar

By pasting the “network.http.max-connections-per-server” at filter bar, you will be able easily locate the entry and now double click it to change it’s value to 32 and click on OK.

Similary do the same thing for rest of the entries and change their values. Once you are finished then, right-click anywhere and select New-Integer. Name it nglayout.initialpaint.delay and set its value to 0. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives. Now close the Firefox and open again and Enjoy the faster surfing speed!!
